I thought it would be interesting to note that my latest 30-word review (to your right) of Marnie Stern’s This Is It and I Am It and You Are It and So Is That and He Is It and She Is It and It Is It and That Is That, with its 31-word title, actually surpasses the word count of the review. That’s a first.

And while I’m at it, why don’t I explain these little 30-word reviews. They’re an outlet to compose succinct little nuggets about new albums that I’ve been checking out. It’s haiku-like, in a way. I’ve been enjoying putting them together quite a bit, and I hope the same is true on your end.
