Track Review: Morrissey – “I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris”

Quintessential Morrissey. A bleak portrait of unrequited love with an urban backdrop. He’s no longer “Sixteen, clumsy and shy,” but he’s still got that ache. Add in a little “Suedehead” expansiveness and a revving motorcycle to kick things off, and it’s all oh so bittersweet. Let’s throw our arms around Moz in the absence of his new album (gotta wait ’til February 17).
