Birdlips on tour

This weekend two of my best buddies from Virginia, Lindsay and Cliff, who together are the delightful indie acoustic pop duo Birdlips, played a couple shows in New York as part of their first ever national tour. Sunday I caught them at Union Hall in Park Slope opening for The Donkeys. In addition to being a couple of the nicest people I know, Birdlips make wonderful music and, through many East Coast gigs, have pulled together an incredibly tight live show. I’m excited that they are now taking their talents all across the US, and they’ll no doubt pick up many fans along the way. Catch them if you can.
After the break, a video of “Comeback Kid” that I shot at Union Hall, as well as dates for Birdlips’ national tour.
